Elevator out of service
The elevator connecting the east tunnel to platform 1 is out of service. Customers can use the alternate elevator on platform 1 on the west end connecting to the west tunnel which will provide access to both platforms 1 and 3 and the station building. Temporary stop relocation – Route 92
The westbound stop at Kingston Road (Hwy 2) at Westney Road in Ajax has been moved east closer to the Petro Canada due to construction, until further notice. North Bus Loop Closed at Brampton Transit Terminal
The north bus loop at Brampton Transit Terminal is closed due to construction of the underground parking lot. Temporary bus stops have been set up on Main Street. GO bus routes 31 & 33- Eastbound: Stop is located on the west side of Main St. N. – exit to Main St. N, turn left and proceed about 85 metres north.- Westbound: Stop is located on the east side of Main St. N. at Church St. E. – exit to Main St. N., turn left and proceed about 125 metres north toward Church St. E.Additional Information- Accessible parking spaces remain available in the main parking lot.- Work is expected to be completed in August 2026. - Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas.
Reminder - Kitchener line - July 27 -28 Service adjustment
Kitchener line train service resumes today with some trips and schedules adjusted until Tuesday, July 28. Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28: All train trips from Stratford or Kitchener GO to Union will depart 5 minutes earlier. Please arrive earlier to catch your usual trip.All train trips from Union to Kitchener or Stratford GO stations will arrive 5 minutes later. Please adjust your schedules to arrive later than usual.Regular Kitchener line service will resume on Wednesday, July 29.
Pedestrian Bridge South of Old Cummer GO - Construction
Until further notice, the pedestrian bridge over Finch Avenue will be closed for repairs. Customers wishing to access to the path to the Old Cummer GO, will have to cross the street at Leslie Avenue and Finch Avenue and proceed to the north stairway on Finch Avenue. Temporary, partial closure of main parking lot and passenger pick-up and drop-off area
A portion of the main parking lot and one lane in the passenger pick-up and drop-off area are temporarily closed for concrete and repaving work and installation of garbage enclosure. Here’s what you need to know:- 240 parking spaces are temporarily closed. - Please use other available parking lots at this station.- For additional parking, please use Bramalea GO; which is approximately a 20-minute drive from Brampton Innovation District GO.- Work is expected to be completed in Aug. 2026.- Please follow directional signage and use caution around construction areas.
Elevator Maintenance Notice - York Concourse
Elevators in the York Concourse will undergo scheduled maintenance from July 28 to August 6.If you require elevator access to your platform, please allow extra travel time and speak with a Station Ambassador for assistance.If you are already onboard a train, please notify the Customer Service Ambassador (CSA), who will arrange assistance at Union Station.. July 28 - 29: The elevator connecting the York concourse to platforms 12 and 13 will be out of service from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. July 30: The elevator connecting the York concourse to platforms 4 and 5 will be out of service from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. August 4 - 6: The elevator connecting the York concourse to platforms 10 and 11 will be out of service from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Platforms 10 and 11 remain accessible from the elevator in the Bay concourse. Modified Service – Niagara Falls and St. Catharines
The Niagara Falls GO (VIA Station) 06:36 - Union Station 09:04 train will begin at Confederation GO GO due to weather related track conditions. We have arranged GO bus shuttle service. Accessibility ramp is out of service.
The accessibility ramp at Langstaff GO is temporarily out of service until further notice due to an operational issue. If you require the accessibility coach at Langstaff GO, here’s what you need to know: - Shuttle service is available between 06:00- 08:30 and 16:00 - 19:40.- Call 416-398-2222 and dial ‘0’ to book a shuttle.- Note: Dignity Shuttle services must be booked 48 hours in advance.- If you’re travelling south towards Union Station; prearrange a Dignity shuttle from Langstaff to Old Cummer GO.- If you’re travelling north toward Bloomington; prearrange a Dignity shuttle from Langstaff to Richmond Hill GO.- If you’re travelling to Langstaff GO; Exit the train at Old Cummer or Richmond Hill GO, to access your prearranged Dignity shuttle.
Elevator out of service
The elevator connecting the tunnel to platform 2 is out of service. Platform 2 is currently inaccessible for customers needing a step-free path. While this platform typically serves eastbound trains, platform changes may also impact westbound trains. Alternative Travel Option: For eastbound travel to or from Rouge Hill GO, please use Pickering GO as an accessible alternative. An update will be provided as more information becomes available. Bus route modified – Route 19, 25, 29, 40 and 94
Westbound buses will not stop on the lower level pick up area of Renforth Transitway Station starting Tuesday July 28 from 09:00 for approximately 24 hours due to repair work. Please board the bus at the pick up and drop off lane on Eglinton Avenue east of Commerce Boulevard. Eastbound buses will not be affected. Street level access after station hours
Access to the waiting area and restrooms is open Monday – Friday, 5:20 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.After the main waiting area is closed:To exit from the station building to MacNab Street, please use the walkway doors adjacent to the platform 1 staircase.
East Gwillimbury GO pathway access
Repairs have begun and are expected to continue until late fall 2026, to the walkway from the bus loop to Green Lane East, by the railway crossing. You can access the bus loop from the main entrance or the rail platform. This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Please allow yourself extra time to access the loop. Updates will be provided when available.
Entrance to Scotiabank Galleria closed weeknights
The entrance from the Bay Concourse to the Scotiabank Galleria will be closed Monday to Friday from 22:00 to 6:00 due to construction.Please exit via the north pedestrian bridge or the outdoor route through the Bay South Teamway.

The elevator connecting the Finch Bus Terminal to the TTC tunnel is out of service. Passengers who need this elevator can access TTC using the step free path via the Kiss and Ride entrance. Platform construction underway
Platform rehabilitation has begun at Milton GO on the east side of the platform, to modify and replace existing platform infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility. How you board your train is affected. The east side of the platform is temporarily closed. Trains will be available for boarding at the west side of the platform. Learn more about this construction.
